Synopsis

This one day course provides an overall working knowledge of the REMVue® – 500 controller. Students are presented with a comprehensive overview of the hardware and software tool requirements for this product.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for persons requiring the understanding of the hardware, software tools (REMVue® – 500 IO Toolkit) and maintenance requirements of a REMVue® – 500 controller and the basic skills necessary to configure, calibrate and support it.

Objectives

  • Identify the primary components of this controller.
  • Understand and configure setpoints, transmitter ranges, timers, PID and sequence parameters.
  • Interpret REMVue®– 500 panel drawing.
  • Understand the operating philosophy of this controller.
  • Able to configure a blank controller and calibrate analog input channel using the REMVue I/O Toolkit.
  • Able to download the ISaGRAF using the REMVue I/O Toolkit.
  • Able to navigate HMI screens.
